A Book for the Belly of a Fish illuminates the story of 6thC St. Baruc who drowned retrieving St. Cadoc’s prayer book from Flat Holm Island. On 29 June 2021 it was discovered by the choir of Cadoxton Primary School inside a large salmon hauled out of the sea at Barry Island in accordance with the legend, as part of the Landscapes of Faith Festival led by Richard Parry.
The book was coptic-bound by Carole King of Nant Designs, and the fish made by Angharad Rooftop Sewing Atelier.
